Tell us what is happening and we will tell you what to consider.
Three questions, less than a minute. It is not a diagnosis: it simply directs your request to the right service.
The service to consider
Have an inspection coming up? Check whether your diesel is covered by the MFK check.
This is not a diagnosis: we will confirm whether the service is suitable after hearing about your case.
Our work starts with the filter.
We specialise in particulate filter systems for diesel and petrol engines, professional regeneration and preventive engine decarbonisation. A reference point in Figino for anyone looking for a contact dedicated to these specific needs.
- 01 Attention to the system and its condition
- 02 Assessment of the service’s feasibility
- 03 Direct contact for your case

Behind SWISS DPF SERVICE there is a person.
I worked as an employee in the technical and commercial management of companies in the construction sector and, for five years, as head of human resources. The desire to do something for myself, in the world of services, led me down this path.
I started from a personal experience and deepened my technical and mechanical knowledge with the help of industry experts. In this way I came to identify solutions that are cheaper and more eco-friendly than replacing the filter. This is how the project was born, becoming reality after a year and a half of study and testing.
From first contact to handover.
A simple process. The exact procedures depend on the service and the type of filter.

We assess first, then decide together.

- No promise of guaranteed recovery or universal compatibility
- Our field is the care of particulate filter systems, not their removal
Does your diesel have to pass the MFK?
Since 1 January 2023 the periodic inspection (MFK) has checked the operation of the particulate filter of diesel vehicles with a particle measurement. A warning light that is off is not always enough to know the state of the filter.
Have an inspection coming up?
Describe your vehicle and the warning lights you notice: together we will assess whether work on the filter makes sense, without any promises about the outcome of the official inspection.
Your garage. Our specialisation.
A channel dedicated to garages interested in professional services for particulate filter systems. Contact us to find out about the SWISS DPF SERVICE programme for partner garages under agreement and to explore a collaboration.
One contact. Specific expertise.

Services assessed case by case
The terms and conditions of the agreement are defined directly with the company.
Closer to your needs.
At your trusted garage: together we check which services can be carried out or arranged there, depending on technical feasibility.
From the Lugano area to the whole of Ticino.
We are based in Figino, near Lugano. We serve private customers, companies and garages in the Lugano, Mendrisio, Bellinzona and Locarno areas and the Three Valleys: from Chiasso to Biasca, from Locarno to Bellinzona.
Let’s start with what is clear.
What is the difference between DPF/FAP and GPF/OPF?
DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) and FAP (Filtre à Particules) both refer to the particulate filter of diesel engines. GPF (Gasoline Particulate Filter) and OPF (Otto Particulate Filter) are the particulate filters of petrol engines.
Can a filter always be regenerated?
No. Suitability depends on the condition of the filter and on the specific case: a damaged filter, for example one with cracks, may not be regenerable. That is why we assess each case before confirming the work.
How much does the service cost and how long does it take?
It depends on the type of filter and the service requested. Describe your vehicle and the problem: we will reply with a dedicated assessment and quote.
The filter warning light is on: what should I do?
The warning light means the system has detected a fault. Driving for a long time with a clogged filter can make things worse, so it is best to have it assessed. Contact us and describe the warning lights and symptoms.
