This notice explains how SWISS DPF SERVICE processes personal data when you visit the site, write to us or call us, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP). Last updated: 26 October 2026.
1. Data controller
SWISS DPF SERVICE, Via Pree 1, 6918 Figino, Switzerland.
Company name and legal form: Swiss DPF Service di Antonio Bracale (sole proprietorship)
E-mail: contatti@swissdpfservice.ch · Tel. 076 292 58 22
2. What data we process
- Visiting the site: the hosting provider’s servers record technical data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and device type) to ensure the security and operation of the site. We do not use tracking cookies or analytics tools.
- Contact form data: name or company name, e-mail, phone (optional), business name (optional), vehicle details (optional), type of request and message.
- Garage form data: garage name and company name, IDI/UID number, address, phone, e-mail, website, contact person, services of interest, message and any consent to publication in the list of garages under agreement.
- E-mail, phone and WhatsApp: the data you send or tell us (for example name, phone number and the content of messages).
- Customers: if you commission a service, we also process the data needed to carry it out and invoice it (for example address, vehicle and filter details, billing data).
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Answering requests and preparing quotes.
- Carrying out the services requested and managing the customer relationship.
- Ensuring the security and correct operation of the site.
- Meeting legal obligations, for example accounting and tax.
We process data to answer your requests and prepare an offer, to carry out and invoice the services requested, to meet legal obligations and because of our interest in keeping the site secure. Where your consent is needed (for example to publish a garage’s details) we ask for it, and you can withdraw it at any time.
We do not use data for profiling or advertising and we do not send newsletters.
We do not make decisions based on automated processing.
4. Providers and recipients
We do not sell data. The providers that support us may receive it, to the extent needed:
- Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., United States): site hosting, domain management (DNS), content delivery network and temporary storage of the forms.
- Infomaniak (Infomaniak Network SA, Switzerland): domain registration and e-mail service.
- WhatsApp (Meta): if you write to us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s terms and privacy notice apply. The site only contains a link: data goes to WhatsApp only if you open it and send a message.
- Advisers (for example accounting and legal) and authorities, where required by law or to assert a right. Partner garages receive data only with your agreement.
5. Transfer abroad
Cloudflare also processes data outside Switzerland, in particular in the United States and the countries where its servers are located. Where a country does not guarantee adequate protection according to the Federal Council, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or the provider’s recognised certifications (for example the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework).
6. Forms and protection against abuse
Form requests are saved in a temporary storage on the Cloudflare service and then downloaded into our management system, on a device with restricted access. To limit abusive submissions we count requests per IP address using only an irreversible value derived from the IP (not the address in clear), which is deleted after about an hour; a hidden field is used to recognise automated programs.
7. Data retention
- Requests with no follow-up: we delete them within 12 months of the last contact.
- Customers: for the duration of the relationship and then for the periods required by law (for example 10 years for accounting documents).
- Data of companies and garages: as long as there is a relationship or a mutual interest; you can ask for deletion at any time.
- Technical server data: for the short period set by the hosting provider.
Requests sent through the forms stay in the site’s temporary storage only until we download them into our management system, and in any case for no more than 90 days; they are then deleted from that storage.
8. Cookies and tracking tools
The site does not use tracking cookies or analytics tools. More information on the cookies page.
9. External links, map and search
The site contains links to map services (Google Maps, Apple Maps). When you open them you leave our site and those services’ own notices apply.
The map of garages under agreement uses swisstopo maps (Swiss Confederation) and loads only after you press “Show the map”. At that moment your browser requests the map images from swisstopo’s servers, which receive your IP address. We do not use cookies.
In the garage form, the search in the business register (UID register of the Confederation) is optional and starts while you type the name or UID number, after a short pause, or with the search button: the text you type is sent to the federal register, which receives your IP address. We do not store it.
10. Data of companies and garages
To propose collaborations we collect the contact details of companies and garages (name, address, phone, e-mail, UID number) from public sources, such as the commercial register, or directly from the persons concerned. We use them only to assess and manage a possible agreement and to contact those who have asked or agreed to be contacted. A garage appears on the site only with its written consent. You may ask at any time not to be contacted any more or to be removed: write to contatti@swissdpfservice.ch.
11. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limit access to data to the people who need it. No system is one hundred per cent secure: if you think your data is at risk, write to us straight away.
12. Your rights
You may ask to know what data we process about you and to receive a copy, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict the processing or object to it, to obtain it in a common electronic format and to withdraw at any time a consent you have given, within the limits provided by law. Write to contatti@swissdpfservice.ch: as a rule we reply within 30 days. If you believe the processing violates the law, you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
13. Changes
We may update this notice. The current version is always published on this page.
