The cause first
A filter that clogs is often the symptom of something else: short trips, faulty sensors, problems with other components. Cleaning or replacing the filter without finding the cause can make the problem come back.
When professional cleaning may make sense
- The filter is clogged with soot or ash but its internal structure is intact
- There are no cracks, melted parts or other damage to the ceramic substrate
- The vehicle and the filter are among those for which the service is available
When replacement may be needed
- Internal substrate with cracks, fissures or melted parts
- Damage from overheating or impact
- Filter judged unsuitable for treatment after the assessment
How it is decided
We start from the inspection and the information about the vehicle. We tell you whether the filter is suitable and, if it is not, we say so clearly. We do not promise guaranteed recovery or universal compatibility. Costs and times depend on the case: you receive a quote before confirming the work.
